What was your main inspiration from getting off your ass to start running? Would like to know was you pushed or was you pulled to do it? regards Lucas
Sorry for the late reply, I’ve had a really challenging year so I haven’t been blogging.
To be honest, I saw a picture of myself on Facebook and realized that I had gained a fair amount of weight so I started at the gym. I was quick walking on the treadmill and there was a guy next to me who was a lot bigger than me and he was going all out running, so I decided to try and match his speed. I lasted less than 30 seconds and then realized how unfit I was. I got home from the gym and started reading up on where to start running and downloaded the Couch To 5k plan. Then it was just a case of seeing myself improving with each run and feeling better each time I had been out that kept me going.
Do you run at the minute or are you looking to? What was your inspiration?
Excellent view. Few people understand the difference. But if you regularly train, it is important to choose the right shoes.
