Welcome to Couch To Runner – a website which documents my personal journey from being an overweight couch potato to finding the love of running. I have lost over 3 stone since I started running in November 2016, and completed my first marathon in April 2018. My running journey has had many ups and downs, and I now want to share what I have learnt with others. My aim now is to one day complete a 100 mile ultra event, and would love to complete all of the Abbott World Marathon Majors.
What To Expect?
You will be able to find advice on training, racing, nutrition and lots more to help you reach your goals. I will also share lessons that I have learnt along the way whilst training for and running a marathon.
There will also be gear and event reviews where I will highlight products which offer great value for money, and also find top deals on all things running and fitness related.
In addition, there will be guest posts from others who have inspiring stories and advice to share, as well as motivational posts to help you get through any training slumps you may experience.
The aim is to build a supportive community made up of both novice and experienced runners.
